This offers skin-nourishing benefits and aromatherapy in every shower. Shower Story provides an accessible luxury that turns routine hygiene into a dedicated wellness ritual. ## What was their problem? Shower Story came to SLAM Strategy with a familiar story (pun intended!). Despite having an innovative product that customers loved, they were stuck at a persistent performance plateau. They were consistently seeing a 2 to 3 Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), which left them unable to scale. This stagnation created a difficult balancing act. They needed brand exposure but they also needed that exposure to translate into immediate, profitable sales. They needed help to scale at the same time. ## Their needs - Wanted to secure a large national client to increase their revenue through a partnership with Costco - Develop a performance framework that allowed for profitable scaling beyond their historical 2x to 3x limit - Increased brand exposure to create high consumer demand - Profitable scalability that supported budget increases without losing profitability ## What we did We devised and implemented a comprehensive, multi-channel pay-per-click strategy that went beyond standard ad management. Our approach focused on a full-funnel strategy, ensuring we were reaching customers at every stage of their buying journey. ### PPC advertising We implemented a Meta Ads strategy designed to transform a daily routine into a high-converting digital sales funnel. #### Meta ads Using Facebook Reels and Stories, we showcased easy installation and the health benefits of Vitamin C to reach a broad audience of homeowners. We utilised aesthetic Instagram Reels and Stories to build brand trust and inspire spa-at-home aspirations among wellness enthusiasts. By coordinating these short-form video formats, we created a consistent brand story that successfully drove profitable scaling across all platforms. This required us to find a way to prove scalability without risking significant capital on unproven tactics. We adapted our approach by implementing a quick win methodology, monitoring campaign performance at a granular level to identify top-performing creative and audiences immediately. By proactively cutting wasteful spend and doubling down on what worked, we were able to demonstrate consistent profitability in real time.   ## The results The most significant outcome of our partnership was Shower Story successfully securing a position in Costco across Australia. The performance campaigns delivered immediate, high-impact growth, achieving a 600% ROAS and a 300% increase in conversions within just 80 days. This surge in profitability was supported by a 1300% increase in clicks and a dominant 63% impression share, successfully transforming Shower Story from an online store into a name found on shelves nationwide. ## Conclusion Shower Story had an innovative product but was stuck at a performance plateau that prevented them from scaling. By implementing a high impact Meta strategy and focusing on quick win optimisations, we were able to break their 3x ROAS barrier and build the brand authority they needed.
