This is a varied role perfect for a creative Videographer with some technical nous who wants to get involved in an agency environment. You’ll be getting your hands dirty creating original videos, ads, podcasts, photos, and more in our well-equipped studio.
As our Videographer you’ll work as part of our multi-skilled team of marketers to contribute to projects for a variety of different clients. Your work will fit into marketing and content strategies using the latest technology to deliver your content most effectively.
Good email campaigns aren’t necessarily about high volume, but the ability to engage and convert. This is why the quality content of your content is important. Use great images (there are lots of free sources for quality royalty-free images out there) and write catchy copy.
Good writing starts with your email subject line and continues right through to your email’s call to action (CTA) and footer. You can write the copy for your next promotional email yourself, or hire someone to write it for you. Either way, don’t forget to proof your writing so you don't end up sending an embarrassing typo to your entire email list!
Tools like Grammarly or in-build spell-checkers that automatically flag questionable spelling and grammar can be extremely useful. However, don’t blindly accept all suggested changes. Even the most sophisticated automated editor can’t understand all the nuances of the English language.
Spell-checking tools are a great starting point, but reading the copy out loud is an excellent way to pick up mistakes and check the overall flow of the writing. It’s also worth getting someone else to read your copy to you, or using a text-to-speech tool if you’re flying solo. Don’t forget to read the captions, the subject line, and the header and footer to make sure they’re all correct and consistent with the rest of the copy.

Facebook have announced another update, following 2020’s revamp, which will be rolling out from January, 2021. This update will see Facebook removing likes from their new Pages experience, which means there may not be much to “like” at all. Instead, the social media giant is shifting away from it’s most iconic Page action “like” to focus on Page follows instead.
To date, “liking” a Page and “following” a Page might have seemed to be the same thing. You would hit like and receive updates from a Page. That’s because Facebook would also add you as a follower by default. If you got sick of updates from a particular Page (perhaps because your Aunt Gladys guilted you into liking her Page that time: Crocheted Doily Collection) you could unfollow updates, but still show your support for the Page owner by giving their Page a like.
However, liking a Page in isolation means you are no longer engaging with the content because it will no longer show up in your feed.
Of course, there’s always been the option to simply follow a page without actually liking it, but with the new Pages experience, this will now be the default across the board.
