Social Media Day X Digital Adelaide is back in 2021

We’re thrilled to bring Social Media Day X Digital Adelaide back as a face to face event this 15-16 July 2021!

Both Social Media Day Adelaide and Digital Adelaide have always been about providing an opportunity for social media and digital marketing professionals to share knowledge, insights and case studies with their colleagues.

Social Media Day Adelaide was started by Jen Evison and has evolved to include both social media and digital marketing. It is now run by Jen, Rubina Carlson, and myself with support from the Refuel team. It is now the biggest Adelaide marketing conference, something we’re extraordinarily proud of.

Last year it was obviously not possible to run a face to face event, sadly. But we had already committed to a two-day event with great speakers, so we ran it online and streamed it from our office. It worked out well, but the message from our attendees was clear: we want a face to face event as soon as it’s safe to do so.

 

We’ve combined the feedback from last year with the latest trends in marketing and social media, for our first two-day, in-person event.

Day 1, 15 July, is all the content you’ve come to know and love about Social Media Day. Leaders in the digital marketing industry talking about their experience, sharing their knowledge, and providing their successful case studies.

Day 2, 16 July, is the newer event, Digital Adelaide. This event has only been run once face to face - Digital Adelaide 2019 - and is born out of the demand our Social Media Day attendees had to add more digital marketing content. With a lack of Adelaide digital marketing conferences, we wanted to do this in a way that filled this need, but without ruining the vibe of Social Media Day. A new event was born!

We think the lineup this year is exceptional, and we hope you will too! While last year had the spectre of COVID looming over the lineup, this year we’ve looked forward. We have some great presenters covering a broad range of topics such as:

I’ll also be presenting at Digital Adelaide, Friday 16 July, covering everything you need to know about Marketing Automation.

Thanks to the continued support of the University of South Australia, the event will again be held at the Allan Scott Auditorium, at UniSA’s City West campus. It’s a great venue, and it’s capacity is critical in these times of social distancing.
