Canva ProSuite: what it is, what's included and who it's for
Last updated: 25 October 2026
Your designers live in one set of tools. The rest of your team lives in Canva.
The designer builds a beautiful campaign. Then they export it, flatten it, rebuild it as a template and send it over. Three weeks later someone in sales has changed the font, stretched the logo and added a drop shadow nobody asked for.
Meanwhile you're paying for a stack of specialist licences on top of your Canva seats.
Canva built ProSuite to close that gap. Your specialists get pro-grade tools. Those tools connect to the Canva workspace your team already uses. And your brand travels between the two.
The short version
- Canva ProSuite is a set of four professional creative apps connected to Canva: Affinity, Cavalry, Flourish and Leonardo.Ai.
- It isn't a new plan. It's a set of tools for Canva Business and Enterprise customers.
- Business and Enterprise include Affinity and Cavalry. The core apps are also free for anyone.
- Business and Enterprise include Flourish (on the Presenter plan).
- Leonardo.Ai is a paid add-on, and Leonardo.Ai Essential is no longer bundled in either plan.
- The real win is the workflow. Specialists craft in ProSuite, then the wider team localises and scales it in Canva without going off brand.
What is Canva ProSuite?
Canva ProSuite is a set of professional creative tools that connect to Canva. It covers design, photo editing, layout, motion, data visualisation and AI generation. Canva launched it in September 2026 with more than 100 new features across the four apps.
Canva's own tagline for it is for teams who won't compromise on craft. Which is a polite way of saying your senior designer can finally stop sighing when someone says "can't we just do it in Canva?"
The idea is simple. Specialists get proper tools. Everyone else gets on-brand templates and assets that came out of those tools. Nobody has to rebuild anything from scratch.
What do you get with Canva ProSuite?
Four apps, each covering a job that used to need separate (and often pricey) software.
Affinity: design, photo editing and page layout
Affinity is a pro design, photo editing and page layout app, now in one app rather than three. Do your designers use Illustrator, Photoshop or InDesign? Then this is the Adobe alternative to look at first.
New in the ProSuite release:
- Canva Brand Kits inside Affinity, so designers work with approved colours, fonts and assets from the start
- InDesign (INDD) file import, which makes it a practical InDesign alternative. No rebuilding your brochure library from zero
- A new Blend Tool, streamlined masking and native 3D model support
- AI Scene Decomposition, which splits a flattened image back into editable layers
- Data Merge with Canva Sheets, for pulling data straight into layouts
- A Claude connector that automates repetitive tasks using plain language
An iPad version of Affinity is due in November.
Cavalry: motion design
Cavalry is a pro motion design tool that previews every change in real time.
For 2D motion work, it's a serious After Effects alternative. This release added more than 50 new features. Highlights include new lighting, twist and ripple filters. There are also AI tools that remove backgrounds and turn images into layers.
The bit marketing teams will love is coming soon. Your motion designer will pick which parts of an animation your team can edit in Canva, like text or colour. The core scene stays locked.
Translation: the regional team can update the offer on an animated ad without breaking the animation. Everyone wins, especially the motion designer's blood pressure.
Flourish: data visualisation
Flourish turns data into interactive charts, maps, animations and scrollytelling stories. It's the tool newsrooms use to make data look good, and now it sits alongside your Canva workspace.
Use it for annual reports, investor updates and impact reports. It's also great for any presentation where a static bar chart won't cut it.
Leonardo AI: AI image and video generation
Leonardo.Ai is built for generating images and video at volume. Generate a batch of variations, then refine the ones you like in Canva or Affinity.
One thing to know: Leonardo.Ai is now a paid add-on for Business and Enterprise customers. Canva no longer includes Leonardo.Ai Essential as a built-in benefit.
Business customers keep premium Leonardo features with a daily token allowance. If they need more, they can top up or buy Essential directly from Leonardo.Ai. Enterprise customers need to talk to their Canva account team.
How does ProSuite work with Canva?
Here's where it gets good. The four apps are useful on their own, but the value is in what happens between them and Canva.
|
You do this in ProSuite |
Then your team does this in Canva |
|---|---|
|
Design a campaign in Affinity with your Brand Kit |
Turn it into templates the whole business can use |
|
Animate a hero ad in Cavalry |
Tweak the editable text and colour for each market (coming soon) |
|
Generate image variations in Leonardo.Ai |
Refine and drop them into on-brand designs |
|
Build an interactive chart in Flourish |
Present it live in Canva |
Your specialists stay in tools built for their craft. Your marketers, sales reps and regional teams stay in the tool they already know. Your brand stays consistent across both.
IT gets the enterprise controls they'd expect: SSO, SCIM provisioning, admin controls and permissions. And your organisation keeps ownership of the work.

A couple of notes:
- Canva Pro is for individuals and smaller teams. The full connected set is for Business and Enterprise teams.
- Canva Business replaced Canva Teams. If you're still on Teams, read the next section.
- Canva doesn't publish ProSuite pricing. Canva quotes Enterprise pricing based on your seats and setup.
Still on Canva Teams?
Canva stopped taking new sign-ups and upgrades for Canva Teams when it launched Canva Business. If you're already on Teams, nothing breaks. You keep your pricing and features, and you can still add people to your team.
But Canva built ProSuite for Business and Enterprise customers, not Teams. Teams customers also miss out on some Business extras. They include the Flourish Presenter plan and the Leonardo.Ai add-on. Business also gets higher limits on premium AI tools.
So should you move? It depends on what your team needs:
- Stay on Teams if your team mainly makes social posts, presentations and documents, and you're happy with your price.
- Move to Business if you want ProSuite, Flourish or higher AI limits.
- Look at Enterprise if you need SSO and SCIM provisioning, more than 100 seats or multiple teams under one brand.
One catch: Teams is closed to new sign-ups, so once you leave it, you can't go back. Check your seat count and the new pricing before you switch. We're happy to run the numbers with you.
Who should be looking at ProSuite?
ProSuite makes the most sense if you tick two or more of these:
- You have in-house designers or a creative team working in separate specialist software
- You're paying for specialist licences on top of Canva seats and wondering why
- Your brand drifts as designs move from the creative team to everyone else
- You produce a lot of motion or data content, like animated social ads, reports or dashboards for stakeholders
- You're running content across multiple markets and need templates that can be localised without breaking
If your team is three marketers and a Canva Pro account, you probably don't need it yet. Canva Pro is still excellent at what it does.
Things to sort out before you switch
ProSuite is a big step up, and like any new tool, the setup decides whether it sticks.
- Get the Brand Kit right first. Brand Kits now flow into Affinity. If yours is out of date or half finished, that problem just spread to another app.
- Plan your licence consolidation. Work out which specialist licences you can actually retire and when. Don't cancel anything mid-campaign.
- Migrate the important files. Affinity imports InDesign files, but test your key templates before you commit.
- Decide who edits what. Set roles and permissions so your brand designers control the masters and everyone else works from templates.
- Train both groups. Your specialists need to learn the new apps. Your wider team needs to learn the new templates. They're different sessions.
Skip this bit and you'll end up with expensive new tools and the same old brand mess.
