How to cancel domain name auto-renewal
Domain names are set to auto renew when they are due to expire. If you want to cancel the renewal, reply to the expiry notice email before the stated cancellation date and request that the domain renewal be cancelled.
Auto-renewal automatically renews your domain before it expires. You will receive expiry notices in advance, and you can cancel auto-renewal by replying to one of those notices before the cancellation date.
How does auto-renewal work?
When your domain is approaching its expiry date, we send you an expiry notice confirming that auto-renewal is active and showing the cancellation deadline.
How do I cancel auto-renewal?

- State that you want to cancel the domain renewal.
- Send your request before the cancellation date listed in the notice.
What happens if I do not cancel auto-renewal?
If auto-renewal remains active, the domain renews automatically when it expires.
